Vanguard has an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. This full-time role will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties with the finance department in order to support our multidisciplinary medical practice. The role will be located at our Corporate office in Fairfield, NJ.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who?s highly organized, reliable, and has excellent customer service skills. They will also possess the ability to multi-task, be able to work independently, are detail orientated, and have proactive follow-up and tracking skills.
* Performs bookkeeping services for multiple offices by utilizing a chart of accounts; following any and all bookkeeping policies and procedures * Maintains accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions * Accurately maintains general ledgers and performs ongoing audits * Maintains historical records by filing documents in a detailed manner * Prepares financial reports for owners and partners as requested * Prepares bank deposits and inter-account bank transfers * Receives and renews incoming invoices and prepares and mails payment checks, coding invoices accurately to the General Ledger, and keeping payables up to date * Manage flow of money between entities * Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing * Contributes to team effort by assisting with various office tasks as needed * Provide support to the Director of Finance and corporate finance staff, as needed * Assist with special projects, as assigned * Note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
