Primary Responsibilities: Development of financial models, including detailed assumptions around pricing, sales, market penetration, revenue, capital, headcount, and operational expenses Prepare build vs buy analysis Develop cost-benefit analysis for capital investments P&L oversight with insightful management communication and reporting Drive improvements to financial templates including accuracy of standard assumptions Documentation of best practices and standard operating procedures Lead education of internal business partners Manage the budget, forecast, and month-end processes for new products Support capital management and capital consolidation processes Prepare financial analysis and present findings and recommendations to senior managementRequired Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics 5+ years of experience using strong financial acumen 1+ years of experience managing / creating financial models Comfortable independently navigating a large, matrixed organization Strong Excel skills, including advanced financial modeling Ability to summarize and present actionable information and recommendations to senior management
Preferred Qualifications: MBA 3+ years of financial modeling experience Experience with capital accounting and key capital metrics Proficient Essbase skills (pull together Essbase reports) Detail oriented Strong communication and business partnering skills Careers with Optum.
