The incumbent serves as a Procurement Analyst assigned to a Contract Management Office (CMO), or any other office charged with this responsibility, of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
Responsible for understanding and assisting in monitoring and evaluating the business base, workload, and strategic business processes for the CMO to identify trends and recommend or implement reform initiatives.
Serves as Action Officer on special projects (such as Agency/Regional Level Performance Reviews, etc.)
Defines and implements new acquisition excellence initiatives, contracting efficiencies, and streamlining initiatives.
Takes the lead in assessing customer satisfaction by analyzing data, identifying areas of improvement, making recommendations for corrective actions, and following up to ensure that concerns are addressed.
Promotes internal understanding of contract administration/cost/pricing performance trends by means of briefing sessions, personal contact, and correspondence with contracting personnel.
Analyzes, evaluates, and develops solutions to contract administration/cost/pricing related problems.
