Fund Accountant Job Description?Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting, the Fund Accountant is responsible for calculating the monthly and quarterly distributions due to internal and external investors in syndicated real estate investments. Tasks include preparation of the underlying calculations, review of general ledger records and investment subscription documents, properly reflecting changes in the distribution schedules such as new investors or transfers of interest, and performing profit participation calculations. This individual works in close connection with the Accounts Payable department who issues payments to the investors.
