Reports directly to the Sr. Director of Finance. Responsible to develop, plan, organize, and implement highly reliable processes to effectively capture all billable events, submit invoices and claims for care to our customers (patients and insurance carriers), process payments, minimize bad debt, improve cash flow, provide performance feedback to providers and staff, and manage the collection of the companys receivables. Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities as they relate to revenue cycle functions which include, but are not limited to: Monitoring front office services Billing &Collections Accounts Receivable Management Financial planning for patients Work collaboratively with Regional Management on revenue cycle performance, in order to meet strategic goals for increasing net patient revenue, as well as developing policies and guidelines that will ensure network-wide implementation of new applications. Provide analysis using tools available via Med-Metrix Dashboard Reporting, as well as provide feedback to Medi-Centrix developers for enhancing the application, creating a more user friendly experience for our practice managers. Satisfy reporting needs related to value-based care and incentive programs that are pertinent to revenue recognition.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in health care administration, business or other related field, OR equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years experience in health care management such as, but not limited to, clinic management, patient management, accounts receivables and payables, and marketing and public relations. Strong background in financial management and knowledgeable of federal and state laws and requirements relating to healthcare management. A change agent and be capable of guiding the organization in initiating various change management initiatives with the view of leading and guiding the organization towards the future. Strong managerial acumen in setting corporate directions and aligning strategic goals around business plans. Superior judgment, negotiation and decision-making skills. Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity. Strong analytical skills and adept in interpreting strategic vision into an operational revenue cycle model. An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written, and persuasive skills.
