The Night Auditor provides prompt and courteous service to our guests who require assistance during the overnight hours. Responsible for performing night audit end of day tasks related to reconciling accounting and data entry of the days financials. Responsible for overnight security of the guests and grand performers as well as assets of the Grand Bohemian as it relates to fire, theft, vandalism, inappropriate behavior of hotel guests, and illegal entry of outside visitors.
Experience / Education / Certifications:
High School diploma required
Minimum 1 year Hotel Front Desk experience-required
Basic knowledge of accounting - preferred
Essential Duties / Tasks / Responsibilities:

Ensures positive guest experience by utilizing the GUEST service standards and LEADER recovery steps
Processes arrivals and departures.
Ensure all communication between departments as necessary.
Acts as an ambassador of the Grand Bohemian and Kessler Collection.
Point of contact for any guest issues.
Provides overnight valet services.
Serves as Manager on Duty in absence of General Manager and or Front Office Manager.
Handles all housekeeping and engineering requests.
Performs security walks around the hotel throughout the night.
Ensure completion of all end of day accounting tasks.
Ensure completion of all front desk tasks in a timely manner.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSAs)
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and Grand Performers.
Strong verbal and written skills (effectively able to summarize daily events on MOD report).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Guest service demeanor and outgoing personality with the ability to relate to diverse guest types.
Ability to perform all tasks for each job at the Front Desk.
Proficient in MARSHA/Opera systems.
Trained on Marriott rewards program/completed online training.
Computer savvy (MS Office suite).
General knowledge of accounting
Basic math skills for cash handling; ability to provide change and count bank at end of shift.
