  • Compile all required documentation for SID reimbursement requests. This will include downloading images of cleared checks on a monthly basis and storing those images in appropriate Dragonfly library. It will also include scanning all documents once package is completed and moving those images to appropriate Dragonfly library.
  • Prepare builder reimbursable invoices and follow-up to collect monies. Track builder reimbursements and provide detail reports including aging and prepare monthly entries for builder reimbursable invoices.
  • Assist Director, Finance with maintaining project budgets in JD Edwards and reconciling same to source documents.
  • Assist Manager, Job Cost Accounting with preparing monthly Development Spending Report.
  • Prepare and input to JD Edwards month-end journal entries.
  • Prepare account reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Assist Director, Finance with gathering data for and preparing month-end reports.
  • Assist Manager, Job Cost Accounting in maintaining job masters and contracts in JD Edwards.
  • Assist with preparing closed contracts for archiving, to include auditing contract transactions in JD Edwards, auditing contract file documents for completeness, updating associated tracking databases and JD Edwards, and preparing files for being scanned by outside third party. Confirm all documents sent to outside party are scanned into pdf. Move scanned files to appropriate Dragonfly library.
  • Assist in fulfilling requirements of internal and external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Assist with ad-hoc department needs as they arise.
  • Cross-train in both department accounts payable positions to provide back-up when incumbent is out of office.
  • Highly proficient with Excel spreadsheets, Access database and other Microsoft Office Products.
  • Experience using JD Edwards is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with ability to demonstrate good understanding of GAAP.
  • Real estate development or project cost accounting experience is desirable.
  • Familiarity with land development and construction terminology is helpful.
  • Team player, able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a 'we' perspective regarding department responsibilities.
