The Global Director, TRWW Strategic Pricing, is charged with overseeing the strategic pricing function for our division, one of the most strategically important in the company, on a worldwide basis and across all brands. The individual will lead a core team (1-2 per region) in developing tools, and conducting critical analyses in areas that will have a material impact on our business. A structured and analytical thinker with excellent communication skills, the Strategic Pricing lead will represent TRWW in all global ELC strategic pricing forums and help to set the overall strategic pricing agenda for the Travel Retail division. ELC Alignment: work as key point of contact between TRWW and all associated ELC Strategic Pricing endeavors (e.g., Global Strategic Pricing SteerCo, FP&A Analytics CoE) Team Management: set the TRWW Strategic Pricing agenda and oversee work of the retained TRWW regional pricing resources, as they conduct both regional and global pricing analyses Strategic Analyses: undertake the following types of analysis to improve our business results: Corridor Pricing: collaborate with senior TRWW leadership to set our strategy for priority nationalities (e.g., scenario modeling against key SKUs based on changes to reference market and local market offset) Market Intelligence: monitor gaps to ELC domestic prices and key competitors in key markets and against key SKUs (including TREX); identify new tools / vendors to enhance our capabilities in this space Travel Retail Exclusives (TREX): provide input to setting SRP for TREX newness, most notably for new product offerings for which value is not the primary differentiator (e.g., gift sets) Elasticity: analyze volume uplift for key SKUs against key targeted nationalities, both on a temporary and permanent basis; identify new tools / vendors to enhance our capabilities in this space Pricing Realization: collaborate with TRWW Finance team to further improve our processes to generate price lists for our retail accounts (e.g., through tighter collaboration with NY marketing and local ELC Affiliates) Tools: oversee the adoption of pricing tools by the broader TRWW team (e.g., Pricing Console for price list generation, Strategic Pricing Tool for corridor monitoring) Qualifications Structured thinker and a go-getter, able to successfully navigate ambiguity by listening well, setting a clear agenda and focusing on the highest ROI commercial (market facing) opportunities Excellent team leader and player, able to partner with multiple senior stakeholders (from within TR and beyond) Proven experience as a problem-solver, able to derive crisp and actionable insights from large amounts of data Superb communication skills (oral and written); ability to distill complex issues into clear, concise communications Strong comfort level with core applications (e.g., Excel, PPT, Tableau) and with learning new systems as needed Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience; management consulting background valued Familiarity with prestige consumer goods industry preferred Bachelor s degree, MBA a plus \\#LI-CG2 Job: Finance & Accounting Primary Location: Americas-US-NY-New York Job Type: Standard Schedule: Full-time Shift: 1st (Day) Shift We are an equal opportunity employer.
