Process all payroll change requests including direct deposit, tax withholdings and transit check Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll, which includes transmitting, receiving and translating files Process all manual checks, prepare and sort all paychecks for distribution Audit all electronic timesheets to ensure accuracy and completion Manually/data enter timesheets Process all wage garnishments, including communicating with the employee, setting up the garnishments and ensuring the proper execution of all garnishments Create reports Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management Qualifications: Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or related field; or the equivalent experience; Minimum 4 years of payroll experience required Knowledge of federal and state payroll wage garnishment laws Peoplesoft Software exp preferred Knowledge of payroll regulations and payroll procedures Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel; proficient with spreadsheets, data processing, Ability to work well independently and under pressure
