Highly visible Tax Planning Opportunity in a Fortune 50 Multinational

We are working exclusively with our client, a Fortune 50 leader in its industry, to identify a driven tax planning professional with a desire to advance their career in a world-class tax function for this rare tax planning opportunity.

  • Create and drive sophisticated and complex tax planning strategies in a highly acquisitive, globally complex company.


  • Provide income tax expertise on various domestic and international M&A and internal restructuring transactions.
  • Coordinate and deploy tax subject matter experts on transactions; conduct tax due diligence; evaluate tax opinions and; evaluate potential income tax reserve needs.
  • Identify, design and implement tax planning opportunities and/or tax risk mitigation strategies consistent with the tax risk profile of the company.

Background needed to be successful in this role:

  • Extensive tax planning experience in a complex corporate in-house environment, top tier law firm, and/or public accounting firm.
  • Deep tax technical skills in tax M&A, experience with reorgs, spinoffs and sub c required.
  • Strong experience with legal entity rationalization, Subpart F, Foreign Tax Credits, FDII, and GILTI are needed.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Sec 482, tax accounting and Subchapter K.
  • Must be a proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills as well as a strong executive presence required.
  • JD required; LLM or Masters in Tax highly preferred.
