Established Twin Ports firm looking for a qualified Tax Manager. The Tax Manager leads, manages and holds others accountable in the tax department while delegating duties to ensure timely output of client services. The tax manager is responsible for client relationship management and for consistent improvement and opportunity enhancement in the Tax Department.
I.Actively Pursues Clients for Business Growth.
II.Oversees Tax Department Workflow and Output.
III.Develops Department Workflows, Processes and Training.
IV.Responsible for all Individual and Business Income Tax Planning, Return Preparation and Review.
V.Communication with Taxing Authorities on Client?s Behalf.
VI.Communication with Clients Regarding their Tax Compliance.
VII.Manage Tax Season Process Including Client Tracking.
VIII.Establish Staffing Needs.
IX.Hire, Train, Advise and Supervise Staff.
X.Prepare and Distribute Client Organizers.
XI.Prepare Client Engagement Letters.
XII.Assist with Establishment of Billing Rates.
XIII.Document Policies and Procedures.
XIV.Assist with Internal Budgeting.
XV.Assists the President and Vice-President to Ensure the Organization Meets Necessary Financial, Regulatory and Compliance Requirements.
XVI.Support Other Departments as Needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Education Required: Active Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent, and a Bachelor?s Degree in Business or Accounting
