JOB DESCRIPTION

Bookkeeper / Secretary

We are seeking Bookkeeper Secretary to perform clerical duties and ensure the accuracy of the financial records, including assisting with payroll. The “right fit” for this position will be responsible for reconciling AP/AR accounts, balancing and some general ledger.

Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper / Secretary:

  • Some experience with General Ledger and Reconciliation
  • Multi-state payroll experience and tax information is preferred
  • Maintain an orderly financial filing system
  • Daily balancing of the client accounts
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Skills Desired for the Bookkeeper / Secretary:

  • Associate Degree in Accounting or minimum 1-year experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of accounting software
  • Experience with bank reconciliation
  • Good Data Entry Skills
