Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator maintains positive and productive relationships with other team members and customers to research and resolve discrepancies related to customer invoices.
Responsibilities
70% of the time you will: Research and resolve variances in customer invoices. Communicating with customers via email, web or phone on payment discrepancies.
10% of the time you will: Log entries in the Customer Service Exception Report (CSER).
10% of the time you will: Maintain aging reports making sure customer accounts are up-to-date.
10% of the time you will: Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma preferred.
* 1 year related experience or training.
* Customer Focus: Quickly and effectively solve customer problems and maintain productive relationships. Readily readjust priorities to respond to urgent and changing customer needs. Recognize potentially adverse customer reactions and develop better alternatives.
* Teamwork: Maintain a collaborative approach in dealing with other Simpson Strong-Tie employees. Demonstrate a genuine commitment to reach mutually beneficial solutions
* Self-management: Set priorities, goals and timelines to achieve maximum productivity. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.
* Attention to detail: Monitor and review work for accuracy and completeness. Complete work according to procedures and standards. Maintain an organized work space and filing system. Understand verbal instructions.
* Speaking and communication: Communicate verbally in an appropriate way for the audience they are speaking to. Listen with full attention to what other people are saying, making sure to understand the needs being expressed, asking questions as appropriate without interrupting at an inappropriate time.
* Writing: Write routine reports, CRM notes, procedures, and correspondence. Write in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience.
* Reading comprehension, analysis, and reasoning: Read, analyze, and interpret general business information, complex documents, government regulations, and technical procedures. Understand written instructions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
* Mathematical reasoning: Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
* Accountability and dependability: Arrive to work on time and follow instructions, policies, and procedures. Fulfill commitments made to customers, peers, co-workers, and manager. Hold self and others accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results.

This job does not require travel.
Work Status & Location
This is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Riverside, CA.
