Position Overview The Sr. Financial Analyst is integral in identifying, quantifying, leading, and validating operating and strategic initiatives that contribute to the overall financial position of the organization. The position will provide support to the CFO, Sr. Finance Manager and Manager FP&A, as well as the leadership team, by assisting with industry analysis, modeling, the annual budget, the ongoing forecast process, and other projects as needed. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for diving deep into data to identify trends and draw conclusions. This candidate will also possess exceptional communication skills and will routinely make recommendations to executive management and functional leads. Essential Job Functions Maintain ongoing financial forecasts, including integrated forecasts, as well as other financial & forecasting projects Own the annual budget. In conjunction with the Sr. Manager of Financial Planning and Manager FP&A, meet directly with budget owners to provide them with the resources they need while working within the framework of the company s financial strategy Establish and report on key financial & operating metrics. Proactively create new metrics as needed Provide insightful financial analysis to support company-wide strategic and operational initiatives Develop analytical frameworks and proformas that determine the company s return on investments Develop and maintain integrated revenue, margin and expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual results providing detailed revenue, margin and expense analyses that draw relevant and meaningful conclusions Assist with valuation, profitability analysis and financial due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships and other transactions Assist with preparations for Board of Director meetings, investor, & other presentations Numerous ad hoc projects as needed every day is different Other Duties as Assigned Position Requirements Possess a firm understanding of Financial Statements including Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles & US GAAP. Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated Must be an expert in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint Can effectively manipulate and analyze large amounts of data Creative problem-solving skills. A demonstrated track record of making a difference and adding value Strong organizational skills. Able to multitask Ability to work and adjust to changing deadlines Must be able to develop relationships across the organization, working cross functionally to get results Ability to present complex information in a simplified fashion to facilitate understanding 4+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, preferably in a fast paced, high growth, public company.
