Salisbury management Inc. is searching for a qualified Staff Accountant to assist with the monthly and daily accounting processes, with emphasis on balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements, fixed assets, employer s benefit costs, accruals and prepaid expenses in support of Senior Accountant.

Process monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation and recording of adjustments and reclassification journal entries.

Timely inform and update insurance companies of all asset changes.

Assist with the day to day, monthly and year end operations of the Finance Department.

Assist in preparation of financial report & conduct monthly account reconciliations, reports, and roll forwards.

Provide support to external auditors during reviews and audits.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and daily position reporting.

Participate in educational activities and attend staff meetings, prepare and maintain financial meetings.

Prepare school licensing documentation.


Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field & 3 years experience

Knowledge of fixed assets and depreciation, fixed asset roll forwards.

Experience with spreadsheets and word processing. (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong communication and organization skills.
