The Private Client Verticals Project Manager works alongside the Vertical leaders to develop and implement processes to ensure consistent use of standardized best practices across all RSM offices. The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of assigned projects.This includes coordinating with multiple specialty areas within tax as well as other lines of business to develop project plans, scheduling, and budgets to ensure timely completion of projects. The PM will be an active participant in all aspects of the project and is accountable for managing issues and risks and providing ongoing status reports. The PM must be able to identify activities as either in or out of scope as they relate to projects and their respective objectives.

Essential Duties
Create and monitor comprehensive client service plans for engagements
Track engagement status by compiling weekly status reports from project tracking software
Organize, attend, document, and follow up on both RSM and client status calls
Assist RSM teams with queries on established processes in order to deliver a consistent and positive client experience across multiple offices
Identify existing best practices and tools in other industries or lines of business and leverage those tools within Private Client verticals
Manage new client engagement set up
Ensure intermittent RSM and client deadlines are met and communicate any variances to the leaders in a timely manner
Gather regular feedback from both RSM and client teams in order to work with the engagement leadership team to identify and implement improvements to the overall process
Prepare engagement management materials for team reference and internal team training events
Manage all vertical communication, training coordination and community events

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience required
Proficient in MS Office required
Business writing experience required
Ability to communicate both verbally and written at all levels of the Firm
Strong attention to detail, quality, and follow-up

Minimum of 5 years business project management experience required
Prefer prior public accounting experience with a mid to large size firm

Leadership skills:
Ability to work autonomously and with a team
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to multi-task (manage multiple projects concurrently)
Ability to work effectively with a remote team
Able to leverage internal and external networks
