25-Feb-2019 Sr. Financial Analyst II United States Position Summary The Senior Financial Analyst II is a direct report to the Finance Manager, SSB NA Power Control. The position will be responsible for the financial management of a full Application Center PL within SSB North America. The position will have dotted-line reporting to the applicable Business Manager and will work collaboratively with Application Center managementbusiness staff, SSB Finance and non-SSB functions to support the business. The individual in this role will be responsible for all financial analysis, budgetingplanning and forecasting, as well as providing business partnering support and ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively. Ideal candidates for this role will have a proven track record of success in supporting business partners, strong financial acumen and self-motivation to drive issue resolution, excellent communication skills, and the proven ability to innovate and challenge the norm. More specific responsibilities, among others, to include Full PL ownership of Orders through Operating Earnings, with a focus on providing business decision support while supporting overall FPA processes and internal controls. Ensuring predictability of results by driving an effective AOP and quarterly forecasting processes. Leading monthly financial review of actual results, monthly outlookforecast submission, monthly project and backlog review processes. Timely and effective communication to key business partners, and appropriate escalation of key findings to Business and Finance Manager. The Senior Analyst II will look beyond the PL in providing analysis, insight and recommendations for improving business performance. Work closely with SSB Finance to find ways to simplify the close and forecast process Completion of special projects and ad-hoc requests, as assigned by the SSB Leadership team. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 8 years related accountingfinance experience. Knowledge of US GAAP, reporting, corporate governance and other statutory requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Prior experience as Sr. Financial Analyst I or II in analyzing, forecasting and planning a PL is a plus. CPA, MBA or other advanced degree or certification is a plus.
