Our client, a multi-billion dollar, publicly traded company is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to perform analytics around operating expenses and their effect on the company?s financials. This position offers a great long-term growth potential, including a strong compensation and benefits package for the candidate. We are currently looking for an individual who possess excellent analytical skills and thrives working in a challenging and fast-paced environment while contributing to company growth. Responsibilities: Provides support and expertise regarding the use of analytics, reports, methodologies, system databases and source data. Provides ongoing recommendations for process improvements. Participates in the development of financial models and methodological approaches to cost management, resource utilization, and process improvement. Performs variance analysis, creates ad hoc reports, and develops presentations to inform and educate management. Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closing process. Provide variance analysis on balance sheet, income statement and other financial statements. Develop monthly reporting packages to management on business factors and trends. Assist with external and internal audits. Develop and enhance business processes to strengthen controls and reduce risk to the firm. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA credentials are preferred 5+ years accounting experience in manufacturing industry (highly preferred) Must have understanding of cost accounting and variance analysis related to financial reporting Previous experience with preparing financial statements. Ability to implement process improvements where when needed. Software experience with: Oracle, SAP, or HFM.
