Mission

The Payroll?Analyst is responsible for successfully implementing the payroll function within the Company's platform based on client requirements. The position involves documenting, configuring, testing, and deploying the payroll functionality to client's requirements. This individual must be organized, detail-oriented, analytical, excellent at time-management, and able to communicate status to cross-functional teams inside our organization and with clients.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conducts discovery meetings to collect, analyze, and document configuration requirements during the customer implementation project for automated payroll system integrations
  • Assists project management to define project scope, project plans, and deliverables
  • Maintains a subject matter expertise in the application, implementation configuration, and deployment of integrations with automated payroll systems
  • Act as a liaison between the company and the payroll software vendor to ensure seamless integration of system functions and capabilities and to facilitate the training of payroll staff in use of the automated system
  • Completes product configurations and quality control testing based on business requirements and project timelines
  • Quickly escalates any identified risks or issues to a project based on product configuration requirements to project management and management
  • Maintains knowledge of the inbound and outbound data requirements of the company's?platforms
  • Provides coordination and clear communication via phone and email on client implementation activities to customers
  • Organizes, investigates, and resolves assigned work in a timely and effective manner
  • Provides updates on accomplishments, issues, and future activities of assigned projects in weekly meetings
  • Maintains a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction through the entire duration of the customer relationship
  • Set and manage customer expectations
  • Manages multiple customers through the successful implementation of the company's?platforms
  • Actively participates and contributes to internal process improvements to improve project duration
  • Remains current on release updates and product knowledge
  • Completes other tasks and projects as required
  • Required Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, HR, Accounting, MIS, Healthcare, or appropriate related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred in software implementation / configuration with specific experience related to payroll Time and Attendance
  • Experience working with implementation methodologies and/or equivalent project management methodologies
  • Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team approach
  • Ability to communicate with others, including clients, in a clear, effective and professional manner on the phone, via email and in person; and the demonstrated use of good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prioritize workload and work effectively with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with several teams
  • Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products
  • Preferred

  • Strong understanding of collective bargaining agreements preferred
  • Multi-State Payroll Experience preferred
  • Understanding of FLSA, ACA, SOX Compliance preferred
  • CPP Designation
  • Payroll Vendor Certification (Workday, ADP, Kronos)
