job summary:

Senior Plant Controller - $100,000 to $115,000 plus bonus

Outstanding opportunity to join an established, consistent growing manufacturing company in the northern suburbs of Lancaster County. This position is commutable from most parts of Lancaster County as well as parts of Berks County and Lebanon County.

This position is open based on the upcoming retirement of a 25+ year employee. This position will oversee accounting for two manufacturing sites.

This position will report directly to the company's CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Management of multiple manufacturing sites with full P&L responsibility
  • Implement & maintain individualized product costs
  • Cost Control, Manufacturing Costs and Analysis of performance for the businesses
  • Preparation of the yearly budget
  • Prepare weekly forecasts
  • Organize and control monthly physical inventories
  • Develop and implement reports detailing variances of actual versus budget amounts for each plant's operating budgets, labor budgets and raw materials
  • Manage a team of five
  • Preferred Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years in leadership / management / supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • A \"hands on\" Accounting Manager / Accounting Professional
