ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Manager Solution Delivery, is a role that works with Finance leaders to ensure alignment of Pfizer Digital objectives to the business requirements/process and to anticipate future business needs of Investor Relations and External Reporting.. In this role, the successful candidate will support Controllership Finance with all activities associated with the monthly and quarterly close cycles and will help drive operational efficiencies and improvements.. The Senior Manager Solution Delivery, will also be responsible for leading new developments and upgrade projects and will be required to manage cross functional teams comprising of internal and external resources. Additional responsibilities include gathering requirements, coordinating design and build activities, coordination of testing , project management, financial tracking and presentation of status reports to Pfizer Digital and Finance leaders.. .. Support the Monthly and Quarterly close cycles for BT, ensure Finance and BT are aligned with deliverables/dates and appropriate resources are available. Support the coordination and implementation of the monthly metadata releases to ensure accurate and timely implementation including communication to downstream stakeholders. Support the optimization process for all HFM/Essbase applications and proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance and end user functionality. Interface between Client groups, Commercial Finance and BT teams to increase communication and ensure that questions and issues pertaining to HFM/Essbase systems and processes are resolved in a timely manner. Participate in special projects and other initiatives that are in addition to existing role and responsibility. Willingness to accept occasional travel for meetings and projects. Ensure timely and concise communication, anticipate and manage escalation processes.. Maintain expert level technical knowledge in all areas of financial management solutions, industry trends, competitive offerings, and internal Pfizer offerings. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS. Bachelors degree in a relevant field. 7+ years of relevant experience in a finance environment and/or with financial systems. Solid knowledge of Hyperion HFM technology required. Highly effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills required. Strong understanding of accounting and business finance activities required. Strong ability to articulate complicated issues across levels, functions as well as geographic regions and cultures. Ability to challenge assumptions and engage in active conversations with colleagues and management regarding possible improvements and changes to the status quo. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS.
