Accounts Payable Manager

Our client is a large, well-established distribution corporation looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their team and oversee the payables function for their high-volume department. The proper candidate will have prior management experience for a fast-paced accounts payable function. Theyre a very well-known company and looking for someone that can manage and develop staff as well as work well across the organization. This is a great opportunity to join a large, successful corporation that can offer someone long-term stability. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary in the range of $75,000 - $85,000 plus bonus and profit sharing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a staff of 2accounts payable reps
  • Administer the processing of their vendor invoices
  • Consistently working with vendors, addressing billing/payment issues
  • Communicate with stakeholders throughout the corporation to facilitate the payables process
  • Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of accounts payable experience, at least 2 years in a management capacity required
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution or similar industry required
  • Technically proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong management skills, able to mentor, develop staff and properly delegate responsibilities
  • Consummate team player, must work well across the company
