Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
•Responsible for the accounting process for 7-9 buildings:
•Prepare monthly accruals, review the general ledger for accuracy, and prepare journal entries.
•Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
•Assist property manager with the financial reporting package.
•Maintain depreciation/amortizations schedules.
•Calculate Straight-line rent.
•Record Above/Below and In-Place Lease Value entries.
•Calculate management fees.
•Assist Property Managers with monthly budget variance analysis.
•Prepare bank reconciliations and cash analysis for contributions/distributions.
•Initiate wire transfers.
•Process tenant receipts.
•Set-up leases in Yardi.
•Review rent roll for accuracy.
•Process tenant billbacks
•Bill and generate rent statements.
•Review CAM reconciliations.
•Review and approve Accounts Payable.
•Assist with the annual budget and review.
•Assist with other special projects.
