The RoleOne Door is seeking a senior-level, Marketing Events Planner to manage all aspects of trade show planning, logistics, and activation for our largest industry event (attendance 15+K). The right candidate will be proficient in end to end events planning, from pre-event concepting/ideation and strategy to the post-event measurement analysis and reporting. The position would be on a contract basis through the end of January. Key elements of the job include directing vendor partners on booth design and activation, timeline, budget, end-to-end logistics, and coordinating speaker event, on-booth demonstrations, and overall attendee experience. Specific duties include: Partner with internal cross-functional teams to create event agendas and content that meet engagement objectives. Develop and manage planning tools; i.e. budget tracking, project timeline, production schedules, event specs, meeting agendas, notes, etc. Track and reconcile budget throughout the course of project. Communicate scope and budget changes with clarity and precision. Lead internal and external project debriefs and postmortem reports. Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with all team members and departments (product marketing, creative, operations, client development and support, finance, legal, etc).
