We have an excellent opportunity for an Audit Manager to work with our Financial Services Group in our Woodbury, Long Island office.

As an Audit Manager you will be responsible for providing the highest levels of service to our clients working directly with Partners and supported by a team of professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple client engagements to provide timely client deliverables and effective budget management
  • Consult, work with, and service clients to make recommendations on business improvement
  • Proactively communicate with clients, Partners, and team members to manage engagements and expectations
  • Play a key role in business development by identifying new business opportunities within existing client base as well as new opportunities via networking
  • Act as a resource for engagement team members by sharing extensive knowledge and experience
  • Manage, develop, and engage team members on engagements by providing immediate feedback and assessing performance at year-end reviews
  • Strive to continuously improve by attending professional development initiatives, networking events, and training seminars
  • Leading client audit engagements including planning, executing, and completing financial statement audits
  • Proactively interacting with clients to complete audits, reviews and compilations efficiently
  • Required:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of relevant audit experience at a public accounting firm with1-2 year(s) as a Manager/Supervisor
  • Active CPA license
  • Proven experience of meeting strict deadlines within budgetary constraints
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a client focus
  • Highly detail-orientated, organized and proactive
  • Willing to travel to client locations
  • Financial Services experience with demonstrated technical expertise in this industry
  • Demonstrated skills in communication, relationship building, and analytical problem-solving.
