We have a newly created position for a motivated Revenue Integrity Auditor to join our fast paced corporate Revenue Cycle department located in the Ellis Preserve, Newtown Square , PA.

This position supports the Revenue Integrity division with efforts to identify and communicate revenue improvement opportunities and performance for hospital accounts receivable.

Responsibilities to include:

  • analyzing, monitoring and auditing billing processes using current available technology
  • ensuring quality of documentation
  • participating in coding and billing practices to ensure compliance with applicable healthcare billing regulations.
  • identifying and implementing best practices, process improvements, internal controls and corrective action when appropriate.
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills, well-developed analytic and organizational skills, and the ability to influence, but not directly managing the work of others
  • Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Associate/Bachelors degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licensures & Certifications:

  • ? CCA, CCS, or CPC certification strongly preferred.
  • ? Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS-I) or Certified Compliance Technician (CCT) certification from American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) highly desired
  • Experience:

    At least 3-5 years health care revenue cycle, billing and coding background.
    Knowledge of the charge description master and payer billing guidelines
    Knowledge of revenue cycle and reimbursement
    Knowledge of medical terminology
    Ability to develop relationships and collaborate with facility ancillary department management and revenue cycle teams to improve revenue cycle processes
    Effective oral and written communication skills required.
    Experience with Electronic health record (EMR); Microsoft office; and hospital patient accounting systems
