An advanced - level accounting position and includes responsibility for general ledger balances and activity, the preparation and distribution of final budgets, management reporting systems, and all aspects of general accounting support and activity. Bachelor's degree (Preference given to degrees with an emphasis in either Business or Accounting). Greater than 3 years of general accounting experience. Specialized knowledge that can be industry - specific, profession - specific, and/or technical in nature, and may include one of more of the following: proficiency with net service revenue calculations/accounts receivable valuation, detailed knowledge of GAAP, proficiency with/use of relevant software applications, detailed knowledge of GL \"feeder\" modules, and other relevant areas of expertise as approved by the Controller. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets independently and proficiently (including advanced use of spreadsheet functions and formulas). Microsoft Proficiency.
