J.P. Morgan s Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) is a global leader across Banking, Markets & Investor Services. The CIB provides strategic advice, raises capital, manages risk and extends liquidity in markets around the world. The CIB Digital team is looking for a Digital Designer to work on the Marketing and Communications team and support the business globally. This individual will be a key member of the digital marketing team, helping to produce assets and materials for public, client-facing and internal channels including web, video, social and email. The ideal candidate will also oversee, track and manage the end-to-end design and development process in close collaboration with editorial team, marketers, and brand manager. Responsibilities Design thoughtful, brand-compliant and visually compelling cross-channel designs for thought leadership articles, marketing campaigns, events and initiatives. Implement and enforce digital guidelines for a consistent web experience and utilize digital best-practices to enhance and elevate web design across the CIB s digital properties. Enhance all designs to meet the firmwide WCAG 2.0 (ADA) accessibility standards. Partner with members of the video team to build storyboards and animation to aid in creating compelling, thoughtful storytelling. Build mood boards and creative briefs to help guide marketers, the business and creative agencies in telling the best visual stories to support messaging. Provide feedback and design direction throughout out all stages of execution. As a steward of the brand, liaise with the J.P. Morgan core brand and creative teams across the bank to maintain a consistent look and feel as clients navigate products across lines of business. Serve as the project manager / traffic coordinator across the team for all digital design projects. Track progress of each project from inception thru to QA and launch. Partner with Client Marketing teams on intake process. Meet weekly with designers and front-end developers to track project progress. Responsible for escalating project delivery issues. Own and maintain the comprehensive project documentation for the intake process and ensure all controls, including Legal and Compliance, are gathered for audit purposes. Act as main point of contact for project management platform tool working with vendor on annual renewals, licenses and resolving any issues. Provide brand guidance internally to teams ranging from business sub-groups to Business Resource / Networking groups. Take a see something, say something approach to all materials, imagery, templates, etc. that come through off-brand from the business and Corporate functions to ensure future communications meet the established standards Skills 5-7 years of experience as a digital, branding or UX designer in an in-house or agency environment. Minimum of 2 years experience managing people and/or projects. Traffic Coordinator experience a plus. Ability to think creatively and help develop distinctive design standards that set the visual tone of the brand as new technology and media channels enhance client experiences. Expertise in Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, AfterEffects, Photoshop, InDesign).Animation skills required. Familiarity with content management systems (AEM) and basic knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus. Experience working with developers and other technology teams in building HTML, bootstrap framework and other interactive libraries. Proficient in designing with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Sharepoint). Experience designing HTML email (Marketo a plus). Ability to juggle multiple ongoing projects, work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities. Must be detail-oriented and pay keen attention to detail and deadlines. An excellent communicator who fosters open collaboration with stakeholders. Must be comfortable working in a team environment and presenting and brainstorming ideas with senior-level business partners. Not ready to apply?
