Team Responsibility This role sits within the Global Solutions team, which is focused on driving initiatives that will simplify, converge and automate processes to improve the efficiency of the global Client Service organization. In order to successfully deliver these initiatives, the team partners closely with the various Client Service teams, Client Service Technology and the Chief Data Office (CDO). The team's responsibility and agenda are diverse, spanning areas such as process re-engineering, product ownership, proactive engagement with a broad stakeholder base and data oversight. Job Specification We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Associate / VP to join the Global Solutions team as a business process re-engineer. The successful candidate must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and will be responsible for working with business groups and subject matter experts globally to analyze current state processes to identify inefficiencies, global inconsistencies and other areas for improvement. Working closely with Technology, and leveraging the AM Technology platform, the business process re-engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing optimal automated processes and workflows, including managing testing and release plans and monitoring adoption through data driven metrics. Building strong relationships with key global partners and Technology is paramount for success in this role. This is a non-IT position and resides within the Client Service organization. Responsibilities Specific duties include: Perform interviews, document analysis and manage workshops with business group representatives and subject matter experts across the Client Service business to review current state processes Promote process improvement and optimized efficiency, while balancing simplicity, effectiveness, and sustainability for every workflow solution Capture business function and design requirements for technical implementation by documenting the workflow/use cases/activities Effectively present optimal workflow solutions to management team for decision Drive successful implementation of solution design, including coordinating testing and release plan Build strong working relationships with Technology and business partners Act as a link between the business stakeholders and Technology teams during the design, build, test and implementation phase Qualifications: Essential skills/ experience / knowledge: Proven track record of working in a Business Analyst or Process re-engineering role Project experience in business process documentation Strong skills in problem solving and business process reengineering Highly energetic, self-motivated and proactive team player with an eagerness to leverage technology to identify and solve business problems Strong communication skills, including an ability to facilitate discussions across various levels of stakeholders Organized, result-driven, and able to work on multiples tasks with limited supervision Strong attention to detail and accuracy Quick learner; proven ability to quickly learn business processes, and quickly adapt to ever changing priorities Comprehensive knowledge of process re-engineering tools, such as Microsoft Visio Knowledgeable with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word Desirable skills/experience (optional): Understanding of the Asset Management industry and more specifically the Institutional and/or Funds business Not ready to apply?
