(*As of May 31,2019) Job Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated leader with asset management/distribution expertise to join our Distribution Client Services (\"DCS\") team. The DCS team is committed to delivering a holistic, best-in-class client experience across all distribution platforms. You will report directly to the Head of Distribution Client Services and oversee all Financial Intermediary Agreements and revenue sharing agreements within the Wealth Management Intermediary line of business. As a player-coach, you will also lead a team with oversight for all Invesco client agreements. The role will also assist the Head of DCS with strategic projects and overall process improvements. Responsibilities & Deliverables: Manage and provide guidance to a team of individuals managing the contract process across Retail Mutual Funds, V.I. Funds Separately Managed Accounts, Offshore, and ETFs Oversee Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) process controls for execution of financial support agreements Partner with Wealth Management teams to facilitate & manage client requests Collaborate with Distribution and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) to evaluate profitability and recommend action to better align resources with business opportunities. Interface directly with financial intermediaries and internal stakeholders regarding marketing support, 12b1, sub-accounting, V.I. Administration and invoice payments Evaluate proposed changes to existing contracts or consideration of new financial support arrangements, determine impact, and present recommendations to leadership Understand detailed terms in agreements and promptly communicate changes to FP&A to facilitate intermediary payments Educate business partners and sales team on legal and business issues which may impact negotiations of pending contracts Establish, review, and maintain process controls ensuring that Invesco Distributors Inc. (IDI) is SOX compliant in Invesco Distributors agreement and financial support processes Responsible for oversight of Internal, SEC, FINRA and/or SOX audits of dealer service agreements and revenue sharing terms Partner closely with FP&A to understand annual marketing support budget and communicate updates to internal customers Support multiple lines including: Retail Mutual Funds, V.I. Funds, Institutional Cash, Separately Managed Accounts, Offshore, and ETFs Manage a team, and be responsible for evaluating team members performance, coaching and development, and recruitment as needed Assist Head of DCS on special projects as needed Review and make recommendations to streamline processes and meet business objectives while minimizing legal liability of Invesco Oversee the broker due diligence process Work with internal business partners on operational items impacting or required of IDI to ensure accountability towards timely and complete attainment of deliverables Key Requirements: Undergraduate degree 5-8 years related work experience in financial services industry Management and contract experience required Strong Microsoft Office skills Strong ability to extract and analyze complex data relating to financial and business issues Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Detail oriented, good administrative skills, and well organized Comfort and familiarity with financial data and calculations Sound relationship management skills and ability to work with employees at various levels A current understanding (or strong desire to learn) of capital markets, mutual funds, ETFs, other investment solutions, and impact of economic factors Strong work ethic, high integrity and strong values Principal license S26 or S24 strongly preferred FLSA (US Only): Exempt The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this role.
