Endeavor is seeking a director of finance to work within the Endeavor Experiences team. This role will serve as a key member of the Experiences business unit within the Endeavor Digital division. This division has recently formed, and is a focus area for the growth within Endeavor and will need strong finance and operational leadership.. The director of finance will lead the management accounting, commercial accounting, as well as financial planning, reporting, and analysis for our Experiences. This position will be the driving force in managing the financial health of one of our most dynamic and diverse business units. Day to day will include gaining experience in a diverse blend of work - from analysis to budgeting to policy implementation to supporting major transactions. This role will partner across the business unit and their management team. The ideal candidate will be highly credible, a self-starter and drive deliverables with relentless execution.. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities. Management & Commercial Accounting. Responsible for full P&L for Experiences, including period end accounting closes. Responsible for monitoring and flagging discrepancies in cost centers. Variance analysis of actual results against forecast. Compliance with obligations under client and customer contracts. Liaise with group AP function to ensure company payments are made on a timely basis. Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis. Preparation of forecasts, liaising with Business, Accounting, Legal, and Finance colleagues to ensure all relevant information is collected. Periodic cash-flow forecasting for properties. Responsibilities. Be the Finance point-person and business partner for the Brand Team, Wonderful Union, and Product business leaders and team, across all properties and seniority. Present at quarterly corporate Financial Statement review meetings. Support investment appraisal for new opportunities and advise on the viability of new opportunities. You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job. Qualifications. 7+ years of accounting/finance experience in a fast moving dynamic environment. Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Office). Strong accounting knowledge - good knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition. Confident and willingness to challenge senior commercial stakeholders. Must be able to work on own initiative to identify and resolve problems. Flexible team player with the ability to work with commercial staff across the organization. Experience of financial planning and analysis work. Excellent communication skills, sense of humor. Events and entertainment industry experience a plus.
