At the end of the day, we are a business. Which is why we are looking for a great Cash Office Responsible. This role focuses on cash management for the store through auditing of daily sales activity. Sure, youd have to be really good at math, but it also couldnt hurt if you had an appreciation for fashion. You know, the very thing that makes this position possible. Title: Cash Office Responsible Function: Sales Department: Store Reports to: Store Manager or Store Operations Manager if applicable Overall Job Function: Focuses on cash management for the store through auditing od daily sales activity Job responsibility including but not limited to: Customer Service
  • Provide excellent customer service according to H&M standards and follow 5 basic demands in the office and on the selling floor, in the fitting room and at the cash point
  • Job Knowledge

  • Complete all opening and closing procedures and daily, weekly and monthly routines, including banking and corrections
  • Conduct and follow up on account reconciliation of all monetary accounts, which includes daily verification and corrections
  • Research all cash differences and follow up with management and loss prevention
  • Efficiency

  • Complete damages reports and ensure store transfers, price changes and reductions are executed correctly
  • Partner with Store Manager to ensure the stores compliance with all cash office routines for company audit
  • Assist in general operations of the store, including processing shipment, running the fitting room, ringing on the register, unloading trucks, etc.
  • Order all supplies for the store

  • Train employees on cash point procedures and store routines utilizing theStore Book and register training manual
  • Communicate all store routines and cash office policy changes to the managers and staff
  • Financial Accountability: None

    Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred
  • Prior experience in an admin or cash office position desired
  • Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time; bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions; push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc.) for a short distance
  • Ability to climb a ladder and use a stepstool
  • Competencies:

  • Experience with data entry and spreadsheet maintenance
  • Experience with troubleshooting and operating POS
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational and analytical skills
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to take initiative to complete tasks and solve problems
