Contact ...@ge.comEssential Responsibilities:This role will be part of the Corporate Audit Staff organization and will strategically provide technical guidance and consultation on the planning, execution and reporting of Information Technology, Privacy and Cyber security related audits, process simplification, and executing quality audit reviews within CASThis role will report to the Senior Manager, IT and Cyber Security Audit Advisory, and partner with CAS Audit Managers on all audit and governance mattersPerform in-flight quality reviews of all aspects of information technology, privacy and cyber security related audits (scoping, risk and control matrices, controls and substantive testing, and audit reporting) to ensure audit execution and documentation complies with the standards of the Institute of Internal AuditorsAssist in the preparation and conduct training of audit methodologies or industry-specific technical topicsStay abreast of new and emerging regulations with impact to the GE IT and Cyber Securitycontrols and rapidly adjust audit plan or procedures accordinglyStay abreast of GE wide IT Controller ship, that includes Sarbanes-Oxley, enterprise system and product security program postureDevelop, support and enforce applicable standards and guidelines for IT & Cyber SecurityauditsDesign and implement metrics to drive an environment of risk-based continuous controlsmonitoring across GE enterpriseResponsible for understanding and aligning IT & Cyber audit strategy across peers within thesame organization or function.Assist in reporting for audit issues, controls reporting, audit letters, and Audit Committee written communicationsEngage with a globally diverse organizationDrive continuous improvement throughout the organization with a risk based approachWorks with cross functional teams and cross-business teams and is responsible for activelychallenging direct staff through stretch assignments and efforts to develop future leaders andsuccession capabilitiesMaintain constructive dialogue and technical exchange with Senior Leadership including the business level chief information security officers (CISO). Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT Governance, IT Risk, IT Audit, or related fieldsCISA, CIA or CISSP certification strongly preferredGE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable).Desired Characteristics:Prior experience in Information technology risk & compliance, cyber security, and/or information technology auditsExperience in designing, enhancing and implementing detailed wing to wing audit plans and audit approachesProven track record of detailed quality documentation delivery to defined standardsGood understanding of regulatory and external requirements as they relate to IT and cybersecurity for regulations such as DFARS, CMMC, FISMA, HIPPA, GDPR, NERC-CIP, SOX, and for industry standards/framework, such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, NIST Privacy Framework, CSA CCM, ISO 27001, ITIL v3Experience of implementing and operating Risk Based Testing methodologiesDemonstrated knowledge of general IT controls, IT risk and security- related standards and technologiesExcellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds at all levels within their organizationsDemonstrated conversation and presentation skills that can influence decision makers, foster organizational change strategies to take place within a complex, multinational organizational settingDemonstrated ability and track record in strategic, holistic and systemic thinking, managing resistance to change and understanding of organizational culture, learning and change managementStrong conceptual and analytical skills combined with the ability to take ambiguous ideas and to break them into manageable, specific sets of objectives in order to plan and successfully implement creative, ambitious new projects and work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressureExperience in working in large global matrixed environments spanning multiple time zones while being highly collaborativeAbility to synthesize and communicate complex technology topics to all levels of the organizationAbility to handle multiple demands and tasks, including time-sensitive and critical issuesStrong coaching and mentoring skillsApplication of Lean principles, while not required, is also beneficialAbout Us:GE (NYSE:GE) drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges.
