The candidate will be responsible to analyze, design & implement technology solutions to streamline & automate the CREF Origination Flow. Initial focus will be on the Client/Account Onboarding & KYC steps.

Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with Business Analysts & Business (& Operations) Users to understand the details of the current workflow (which is mostly manual)
Analyze & Design technology solutions, leveraging existing technologies available within the firm as appropriate, to streamline and (where possible) automate these work steps.
Implement the technology solutions

Skills Required:

Thorough knowledge of Predictive and Clustering algorithms
A/B tests, ability to evaluate models.
Ability to tune models and understand hyper parameters
Feature Engineering experience
Expert in one of the languages(Python (preferred), Java)
Knowledge about service design (REST services)
Expert understanding/5-7yrs working knowledge of Java, JSP & related technologies Web Services, Apache Tomcat, etc
Strong understanding/5+ yrs of experience working on Infrastructure & ability to quickly leverage available developer tools available within the firm
Self-Motivated & a go-getter
Good communication skills
Good Analytical & problem solving skills

Skills Desired:
Deep Learning knowledge (CNN, RCNN, Auto Encoders, YOLO, LSTM's, etc)
Image processing experience (Open-CV)
Distributed processing and messaging (Apache Spark, Kafka)
Streaming API experience
