Our Exciting Work EnvironmentThis position will be supporting our Parks & Resorts subsidiary helping to increase revenues of the properties you will be supporting.
The OpportunityThe role s primary responsibility is to drive hotel pricing, yielding and revenue optimization strategies for a group of hotels. The revenue manager monitors revenue management system (RMS) forecast and recommendations, and approves implantation of yield and pricing tactics for their properties. The revenue manager also monitors and optimizes channel distribution strategies for the properties. The revenue manager works closely with sales and operation teams to evaluate group deal displacement models, authorizing contract sales.
Develop revenue optimization strategies for hotel properties by consumer segment and product type.
Build out productive strategies targeting key accounts
Maintain the revenue management reporting and anlytics strategy
For managed assets assist GM s with client pricing evaluations and approval processes.
Direct group sell strategies
Maintain forecast quality and RMS system performance optimization
Hotel pricing authority for multiple properties
Hotel yield control authority for multiple properties
Channel distribution decisions for multiple properties and multiple channels.
Responsible for assiting in the establishment if the the overall Delaware North Parks and Resorts budgeting process usually beginning with revenue management hotel forecasts.
Ensures accurate forecasting
Understands overall impact of room and ancillary revenue streams to hotel profitability
Adhere to 3rd party parity and LRA contract compliance requirements
Adhere to client contract requirements regarding pricing process approvals and business mix requirements for managed properties
Enforce and escalate pricing SOP s regarding revenue
Through mentorship and leadership skills, help guide revenue coordinators and revenue administrators career progression.
Similarly responsible for the assisting with the development of revenue management and system acumen for affected parties, such as operational managers and other sales managers
Assist in manage system vendor relationships with key sales systems, such as IDeaS, Opera, Sabre and Delphi.
Understanding market trends/pricing Provides guidance to sales managers with contract clauses Anticipates (or reacts to) group and sales team issues and provides a solution
Bachelor s degree or a mix of education and relevant management experience.
5 year s hospitality management at a senior level for a multiproperty organization
3 year s experience in hotel revenue management
Experience with IDeaS G3 RMS preferred
