CorTech is seeking to hire a Personnel Administrator for our client in Portland, ME! Will be trained on entering payroll. $23.00/Hour9 Month+ Contract Will conduct phone interviews and 2nd round may be video interviews. Will work remotely until staff is able to return to the office. The ideal candidate will have Data Entry Skills, knowledge of Accounting/Payroll along with Customer Service experience. They will be conducting data auditing to ensure payroll is entered correctly. Will be dealing with all levels of the organization so excellent communication skills is a must. Payroll analyst located in Portland, ME who will be responsible for the following: 1. Analyze all data entry received by HR to ensure proper documents and forms are received prior to updating the employee’s record in SAPs. 2. Performs all activities necessary to process one or more payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, and documenting and updating procedures. 3. Acts as Subject Matter Expert for all relevant HR and Payroll matters. Answers incoming calls and responds to questions related to policies and procedures from all levels throughout the organization. 4. Prepares reports in SAP on a weekly and monthly basis as required by law and organizational needs. 5. Maintains knowledge and provides support to Payroll functions such as T Rowe Price funding and paying taxes, balancing and filing quarterly and annual tax reports. 6. Adheres to and understands all departmental internal controls and maintains all departmental processes to ensure compliance. 7. Must be available in the office to perform these duties.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Possess a high level of attention to detail.Result and proactive orientation.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management, scheduling and organizational skills.Exceptional business partner focus skills and the ability to explain matters with confidentiality and tact.Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, specifically ExcelSAP experience is highly desired
