Our client or the "Company" is a confidential middle-market provider of customized business services for a variety of organizations and end users. We have been retained by the Company's Board of Directors to identify qualified candidates to assume the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, you will have a strong financial and accounting background coupled with a history of leadership and demonstrated team building. Additionally, you will exhibit the ability to partner with business operations and shift gears between strategic thinking and being in the details. You must prove the ability to grow an organization while maintaining a collaborative culture and driving EBITDA margins. You will have the opportunity to: Report directly to the CEO and Board of Directors and lead all accounting, finance, reporting, treasury, banking, payroll and commissions, FP&A, M&A and integrations, IT, legal, and risk management alongside a team of functional peers and direct reports Support the operations and employees of the business, advising on the most effective opportunities for sustainable profitability Assess, develop and implement systems to standardize best practices, which includes enhancing reporting packages with relevant metrics to monitor the business Develop and maintain accurate financial planning and analysis tools, which include budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, liquidity, working capital and other key analyses Play a key role in the development and support of the 5-year strategic plan Handle all financial aspects of M&A activities, which includes pre-deal support and post-deal integration leadership Enhance the accounting and reporting systems; position and support the Company s infrastructure and overall technology for future growth. Lead the automation of any manual or proprietary financial or operational planning and reporting procedures Assess, build and mentor an administrative, accounting, and finance team to support the continued growth of the business Anticipate and manage growth adapt the organization as growth occurs via organic expansion and/or acquisitions Play a major role in the formulation of company policies and goals directly related to Company growth and strategic opportunities More strategically, the CFO will enhance the value of the enterprise by supporting its growth and complimenting the collaborative work environment, thereby driving value creation for Management and Shareholders. Ideal candidates will possess 20 years or more of increasing accounting and finance responsibility with a reputable middle-market company or division of a large corporation.
