Purpose:
Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and review of financial policies, plans, procedures, analyses and controls. Typical areas include accounting, planning and forecasting, payroll, treasury, audit and taxation.
Responsible for overseeing multiple financial functions in a sub-part of the overall organization. Translates the company s financial strategies into tactical plans, reporting requirements, procedures and processes.
Provide strategic leadership and executive expertise in the full range of financial and operating functions.

Scope:
General:
Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of organizational strategies
Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges/ regulatory issues
Decisions are guided by functional strategies and priorities
May include international accountability; and may include some global accountability

Primary Responsibilities:
Directly leads, coaches, mentors, and manages team members, as appropriate and to their individual requirements, to build/enhance their capability. Continuously improves the caliber of people; by setting appropriate development activities, and providing regular constructive feedback.
Manages and maintains overall local financial governance and control environment.
Manage Planning and Outlooking deliverables and a provide insight on country, and / or line of business performance to the leadership team.
Prepare country or designated line of business (LoB) Operational Plans and Outlooks to meet requirements.
Deliver ongoing review and exceptional approvals for country and-or line of business to enable improved business results and ensure necessary controls are maintained.
Maintains accountability for statutory financials.
