  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM; 30 minutelunch period
  • The Fiscal Technician is responsible for compliance with Title IV-E eligibility and reimbursability. Determines Initial Eligibility for children placed in CYS or JPO custody based on Federal Title IV-E requirements. Performs annual or more frequent eligibility Re-determinations on active as well as closed/transferred cases. Ensures maximum reimbursement to the County for Federal, State and other funding sources. Deems Title IV-E criteria for Adoption and SPLC children. Tracking and reporting of DRO and Social Security payments. Preparing, tracking, reporting and reimbursing Emergency Vouchers. Prepares for and participates in State and Federal Quality Assurance Reviews.

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements -One year as a Fiscal Assistant; OR three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices, and graduation from high school; OR one year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration;OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
