The Director will lead development of CME Groups pricing strategy, with a focus on promoting OTC and cash market platforms health and advancing CME Groups growth initiatives. The Director will be responsible for providing thought leadership, analytical insight and opportunity identification into OTC market structure trends, client motives and behavior. The Director will also be responsible for identifying potential pricing actions that help drive CME Groups revenue growth, particularly for CME OTC and cash market platforms, and for collaborating with sales and business teams in the design, negotiation and execution of these arrangements. Job Description Track and synthesize OTC industry and ecosystem competition and evolution, including shifts in technology, new business offerings, regulatory changes, changes in execution models and other overarching factors that may affect CME Groups revenue opportunities and commercial models Oversee the long-term pricing roadmap, defining pricing principles and developing pricing strategies and commercial arrangements that promote objectives for CME Groups over-the-counter and spot market trading services Design, direct and execute analysis of market and client activity for diagnosing specific market issues and growth opportunities and for identifying, designing and assessing potential commercial arrangements and incentives to address the identified business problems and opportunities Lead development of commercial structures, incentive programs and other pricing initiatives for CME Groups OTC and cash market platforms, reflecting broad industry shifts, product strategies, market conditions and customers. Develop metrics to assess pricing and motivate client behavior and the tools that track these metrics to measure the resulting impacts on market health Coordinate pricing initiatives across CME Group, working with internal and external stakeholders including sales teams and business owners coordinating commercial arrangements with clients QUALIFICATION B.A. or B.Sc or equivalent required, MBA or advanced degree in economics, finance, business is preferred Substantial work experience at an OTC platform, derivatives exchange, trading firm, or other financial services company. Experience in product pricing, trading, derivatives and competitive market analysis, and strategy are pluses. A deep understanding of global markets and OTC market ecosystems is desired, with a preference for FX or Fixed Income instruments Excellent analytical skills and strategic vision are required in order to lead cross-department analysis and opportunity assessment and development Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas and market and pricing analysis simply and compellingly to senior management and clients and the ability to skillfully build and manage relationships internally and externally A positive attitude, a strong desire to learn, and a commitment to personal growth are required personal traits
