Position Description:
* This opportunity is to lead test team operations for a dynamic team supporting a cybersecurity shared service offering for a variety of government agencies.
* The role includes the supervision of technicians and ensuring adherence of the team to established processes and procedures.
* Deep understanding of testing processes is required, for both manual and automated testing.
* Candidate will be responsible for making sure that all calls for assistance are document via a ticketing system and are addressed by the team or escalated within established timeframes.
* The candidate should continuously look for efficiencies across the team to continuously improve overall quality metrics.
* Candidate should identify team training needs, common incidents and trends.
* The role entails gathering metrics from test outcomes and providing status reporting to various stakeholders.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
* Oversight/supervision of team of technicians in responding to end user interactions (calls, emails, self service tickets, etc.).
* Meeting regularly with team leads to review outstanding tickets and plans for resolution.
* Monitoring testing volume and assess capacity of team.
* Managing development of staff to ensure growth in assigned functional areas.
* Meeting regularly with client to convey status, trends, issues and risks.
* Ensuring help desk is adequately staffed at all times during specific hours.
* Reviewing technicians' interactions for quality.
* Building an understanding of all of the supported systems and programs.
* Referencing knowledge management databases/tools to understand business process, common issues and workarounds.
* Liaise with client and third party test teams and other project teams to ensure that their team supports the overall objectives of the project or service.
* Tracks readiness activities ahead of testing stage gates, progress against plan and works with all parties to mitigate any issues.
* Review and validation of detailed test plans in alignment with project testing strategy.
* Monitor progress to meet milestones and estimates.
* Chair or provide a significant contribution to test readiness reviews.
* Provide regular reports on progress; this will be on test readiness, execution and/or defects status across all parties.

Identify and implement improvements to the test activities and process.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
* Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
* 10+ years of testing experience.
* Must have leadership experience.
* Communicating clearly and effectively.
* Collaborating easily with others.
* Experience with an IT systems test team.
* Experience using ServiceNow and other CMDB/ITSM systems.
* Experience with automated test tools (Selenium preferred).
* Experience of defect management.
* Understanding of Agile processes.

Desired Qualifications:
* Experience with Enterprise Resource Management systems and requirements management processes.
