Our client in themanufacturing industryis looking for an Interim Senior Cost Accountant to join their team in Orange County
Job Description: Help maintain bills of materials cost rollup, routings and overall item cost management Prepare and execute standard cost updates Monitor variances between standard costs and actual costs Prepare analyses Prepare and analyze weekly KPI Maintain and analyze rework and subcontracting accounting Prepare and review with purchasing team Assist in forecasting and budgeting of expenses and variances Develop reporting to support cost saving initiatives Assist in the month-end close process, reporting, and analysis
Requirements: Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Able to communicate with professionals at all levels Able to work independently and take initiative Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines Able to adapt to changing priorities Detail-oriented A team player Strong work ethic
Experience: Bachelors degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
