The Director of Finance is accountable and responsible for the performance and operation of the Revenue Audit, Accounting functions of Accounts Payables, General Accounting and Payroll. II. Specific Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for developing, managing and implementing processes and procedures for the overall efficient operation of general accounting, revenue audit, accounts payables and payroll. Responsible for coordinating the accurate preparation and distribution of the propertys budget and financial reporting. Monitor and analyze results of financial performance. Primary internal management interface with outside contractor for time, attendance, scheduling, payroll and HRIS electronic system (Kronos). Responsible for maintaining department compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, government regulations, and internal controls. Management of staff to include training, interviewing for hires and conducting performance management evaluations. Responsible for monitoring and coordination of general and payroll tax payment and preparation with outside companies. Review financial activities with Vice President of Finance, Directors, and Managers as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Requirements GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED IV. Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities) Gaming Experience preferred. Infinium experience preferred. Kronos system experience preferred Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. Ability to solve complex problems. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment. Capable of operating a computer using, Excel and Microsoft Word. Knowledge of state and local tax laws, gaming laws, and banking regulations. V. Educational Requirements Seven (7) to ten (10) years experience as a Director of Finance or Controller. A four (4)-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience. Graduate degree MBA with finance management preferred. CPA or other professional accreditation preferred. Must be able to obtain the required license for the position as determined by the Pennsylvania Gaming Commission. VI.
