Have you overseen the accounts receivable and/or collections process? This position is for you! ? Fast-paced, growing organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join their team. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will report to a manager and will oversee a staff who work on attaining targeted goals, including past due dollar goals and days sales outstanding.? Daily responsibilities will include:
Supervise and coach a direct team of up to eight individuals on collections and receivables activities
Travel to customer sites to discuss outstanding and past due accounts and develop strategy for collections
Communicate with customers face to face and via conference call on a regular basis
Responsible for a growing region within the United States; travel is required to these locations
Assist with troubleshooting the accounts receivable process
Run reports and educate staff on targeted goals
Lead meetings and make presentations to internal customers
Coordinate and complete monthly training
Other duties as delegated by management
TRAVEL IS REQUIRED for this position.? Individuals will be traveling up to two times per month and will be gone for up to three days at a time.? All travel is during the week and most of the time with a staff member.? ? Candidates should feel comfortable managing multiple projects, working independently, spending the majority of their day on the telephone and communicating with customers on collection related topics. Qualified candidates will have experience working with Microsoft Excel and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Supervisor: 1. A bachelor?s degree 2. A minimum of two years' experience working in an accounts receivable and/or collections supervision role 3. Experience overseeing others 4. A strong background being successful with accounts receivable and/or collections 5. Understanding of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) 6. Strong customer communication 7. Experience leading meetings and/or giving presentations 8. MS Office experience 9. Willingness to travel up to two times per month for up to three days at a time
Skills preferred, but not required: 1. ERP and/or MRP knowledge 2. Experience working with multiple locations ? Why work for this organization:
