Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Bayer Animal HealthSenior Financial Analyst are to:

  • Manage all accounting transactions related to daily, monthlyand financial closing activities, ensuring accurate recording ofoperating expenses, and Profits and Loss reporting;
  • Ensure invoice billing is done on time and accurately;
  • Manage annual fixed asset count;
  • Lead on annual standard costing development and budgetassessment;
  • Lead on process order variance, write offs, & NetRealizable Value analysis;
  • Identify, define and/or resolve or provide solutions to uniquefinancial problems, providing insight and articulation of thefinancial dynamics and impact for the problem;
  • Provide internal management reports and tracking of keyfinancial targets for the Supply Center Shawnee to senior levelmanagement;
  • Assess risks and opportunities of achieving the forecastresults, identifies, and implements mitigation actions.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with four years of finance oraccounting experience or Masters Degree with twoyears finance or accounting experience or Ph.D. with twoyears of finance or accounting experience; experienceincludes financial analysis, budgeting and manufacturingaccounting;
  • Excellent knowledge of budgeting and internal managementreporting;
  • Knowledge of a large ERP system (preferably SAP)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel;
  • General knowledge of Manufacturing processes and inventorymanagement;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well asinterpersonal skills;
  • Proven skills to successfully lead and interact with teams andCooperate with financial and non-financial managers at all levels;and/or regulatory knowledge to a wide range of situations withvarying degrees of complexity;
  • Ability to identify and anticipate potential problems andimplements solutions independently.
