Overall purpose of role Work with Treasury US Reporting and Data Management team to (1) produce and submit Treasury Risk MI and Regulatory Reports (2) work with upstream data providers to ensure Treasury Risk has timely, accurate and complete data. Key Accountabilities Ensure that Treasury Risk meets our regulatory reporting requirements and deliverables and has the MI needed to make critical decisions for the firm Produce and validate Treasury MI/Regulatory Reports (including the 5G and Liquidity Stress Tests) Responsible to run data controls (i.e. reconciliations) Assist the team in the creation & implementation of the team's strategies for Ensuring high data quality and accuracy Report/Data reconciliation to other functional areas like Risk and Finance Improvement/increase processes efficiency Improve reporting processes to eliminate waste and create more value for the clients/business users Manage and maintain data quality dashboards to demonstrate impact of issues and demonstrate our progress in resolving issues Stakeholder Management and Leadership Coordinate with the Liquidity Management team and IT to ensure reporting meets regulatory requirements, deadlines and expectations Partner with Group and IB Data Officers to influence and implement coherent data governance Work closely with upstream data providers to ensure highest levels of data quality and remediation of any data issues (i.e. Finance, IT, and the businesses) Decision-making and Problem Solving Document and perform analysis on breaks or issues identified, resolve and escalate as needed Building an Effective Control Environment: Champions a culture where all colleagues understand and follow the framework within which the bank follows risk and takes accountability for ensuring this. Person Specification Basic Qualifications/Skills: Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Data Science/Computational Finance or similar major 1+ years of strong Treasury/Financial Analysis experience Preferred Qualifications/Skills: Strong data analysis (SQL/Excel Macro) skills Progress towards CFA/FRM a plus Masters in Finance a plus Understanding of principals of liquidity risk management Experience in Dodd Frank Section 165 Stress Understanding of mitigation and contingency strategies Ability to identify and communicate stress limits Experience in testing and implementing new processes / reports Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to write effective, high-quality emails and documents Knowledge of Investment Banking and Financial Services products with focused understanding of broader Finance function Results oriented; ability to commit to and follow initiatives through to completion Able to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic, high-pressured environment - managing changing priorities and tight deadlines Ability to pro-actively solve problems and escalate issues through the proper governance tools and channels Strong PC skills (Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, Project). A strong, polished presence and ability to challenge opinions with confidence Solid work ethic, high levels of motivation and self-starter qualities Proven analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of information Knowledge and experience of the regulatory landscape and the changes impacting Foreign Banking Organizations in the USA Regulatory knowledge in one or more of: Basel I, II & III, Dodd Frank, CCAR or general US Regulatory Policy Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
