Job Description:

  • Monitor program labor charging and General Ledger for any cost posting errors, then review results weekly with the PM.
  • Responsible for providing funding, verifying and approving subcontractor invoices.
  • Responsible for review and approval of detailed travel backup and invoicing
  • Responsible for financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis and incorporating milestone schedules into all activities
  • Perform cost/schedule variance analysis and provides resulting recommendations
  • Responsible for the preparation of EAC and updated ETC assumptions with the PM
  • Interpret and implement customer requirements for cost proposals
  • Interface and present to external/internal customers and coworkers on all cost and schedule issues
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and FAR government regulations

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE: experience within government contracting realm.
  • Have knowledge of CostPoint, Cognos, and other MS Office applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 4+ years experience, or a commensurate combination of education, training, and experience
  • 4+ years of experience providing funding, verifying and approving subcontractor invoices
  • 4+ years of experience reviewing and approving travel and invoicing
  • 4+ years of experience working with financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis and incorporating milestone schedules into all activities
  • Have a strong financial analysis and modeling skill set
