Your Future Team
The Investment Solutions Team is a strategic business partner responsible for developing, managing, and leading Group Retirement investment product solutions in its suite of products and services. We bring quality investment solutions to our clients through product research, development, design, pricing, implementation, product management and strategy, manager research and business management.

You balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment, along with a risk mindset. Ultimately, you take ownership for key outcomes
The Director-Investment Solutions plays a leading role in the management and execution of investment activities supporting AIG Retirement Services' Annuity and Group Mutual Fund Platforms.
The job has three primary components:
Manage investment analysis and support for plan sponsors and plan consultants for investments and services offered on AIG Retirement Services annuity and group mutual fund platforms Lead investment analyst staff of up to four; Serve as product expert and operational lead for the Guided Target Model program
What We are Looking For
Partnering with internal clients in Relationship Management, Consultant Relations, Business Development, Field Management, Operations/Implementation, Product Solutions, and RFP/Bids Unit, the Director, Investment Solutions will manage the delivery of:
Investment related portions of RFIs/RFPs; Pricing support related to plan investment options for new and renewing business; Fund selection and mapping requests related to Plan Sponsor Investment Menus; Plan Sponsor Investment Reviews; Guided Target Model Portfolios (Marketing through Implementation);
The ideal Director, Investment Solutions will be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on providing a high quality of customer service, leading to sustainable customer relationships. They will be flexible, adaptive and comfortable with process evaluations and decision-making in a dynamic business environment.
This individual will have personnel management and supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5-10 years' experience in areas of investments, with focus on group retirement plans.
* Knowledge of all major asset classes: equity, fixed income, stable value, and ESG/ SRI investing.
* Use of basic investment analysis tools such as Morningstar Direct
* Understanding of target date series (glide path construction, etc) a plus and, preferably, understanding of custom models.
* Masters of Business Administration in Business, Finance or other related field, or equivalent designation or work experience
* Ability to deliver and coach team to deliver excellent customer service.
* Demonstrate effective interaction at all levels, internally and externally, engendering confidence and professional regard and leading the team to deliver client-centric service.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills including the ability to make presentations on complex information.
* Track record of managing team and supervisory skills.
FINRA Series 6 and 7 required, or obtained with 3 months of hire.
