What You Will Do: You will use your expertise to help the Fund Administration group with Transamerica oversee all Fund Reporting, Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, and Custody functions. Review expense budgets and payments, general ledger activity, monthly reconciliations, and work with our external Audit team.

You will be working with a team of ambitious and engaged professionals who bring fresh ideas and diverse perspectives to help us continually shake up the status quo and stay on the forefront of reinventing how we meet our business partners needs.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Prepare annual reports for collective trust funds, insurance separate accounts, registered variable annuities.
  • Prepare Statutory Greenbook annual report.
  • Prepare related schedules for AVR and IMR and Solvency II reporting on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide all aspects of Fund Administration services for proprietary funds.
  • Oversee service provider Fund Accounting and Custody functions (including daily NAV oversight), prepare fund expense budgets and initiate payments, and prepare monthly reconciliations for clients.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and accounting, both internal and external in accordance with applicable regulations for annual audits.
  • Interact with third parties such as auditors, custodian bank and print/typeset vendor.
  • Develop process procedures and controls for accounting operations and financial reporting.
  • Perform special assignments as requested.
  • What You Need:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or financial services related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Two years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient Microsoft Word
  • Excellent Excel skills, specifically including V Look-up and pivot tables (Two years working experiences).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SEC financial accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Prefer knowledge of the fund Custodian (State Street) fund accounting, and custody system.
  • Prefer knowledge of macros.
