Payroll Specialist needed for client in Mercer County, NJ. This client is a HR PEO service company - looking for someone who has that kind of industry experience (PEO/ADP-type software knowledge)
Job Responsibilities
  • Processing Payroll for 1000 employees
  • Perform research on payroll related issues such as Tax Withholdings, Overtime, Garnishments, Leave of Absences
  • Maintain & analyze earned Time Off/Sick time, Workers Compensations, 401K, Employee Benefits
  • W4 changes & distribution of W2's
  • Assist with annual audits & month end projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS
  • Preferably 5+ years of Payroll exp. ideally coming out of Paychex or ADP industry
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects at once
  • Must have experience using PEO software/ADP TOTAL SOURCE
  • Must have experience with multi-state taxes
  • Must provide excellent customer service to employees w/ payroll related questions via email & in person
  • Success hinges both on technical expertise as well as speed & accuracy in processing and auditing payroll
